Sustainable waste management

Evaluated the feasibility of setting up solid waste management solutions for multiple stations for NWR, SCR and NR, and DPR reports submitted with the Divisional Railway Managers.

Quantity and composition of waste at different railway premises was analysed to determine the right solution

Dry composters found to be ideal for most of the railway premises (Railway stations, Coaching yards, Running rooms and Railway canteens) We composters suitable for large railway colonies and training centres despite their higher cost

Net zero waste emissions solutions would require a combination of all the above technologies and also able to handle non-biodegradable waste which would otherwise have to be landfilled.
